Four-Year-Old Kindergarten Program

Rhythm of the Day
The rhythm of the day is supported by verse, songs and blessings giving thanks to and acknowledgement of the gifts nature has provided for us. The daily program is as follows:
- Arrival and indoor/outdoor supervised play
- Indoor play and morning activity (including painting, milling grain, cooking, bread making, drawing, household activities and craft such as sewing, making pom-poms and felting)
- Indoor pack-up and setting of meals table
- Circle time (this includes songs, rhymes, movement, games, Eurythmy and birthday celebrations)
- Washing hands and morning tea (often fruit with apple muffins, muesli or apple crumble depending on seasons)
- Outdoor play
- Story time
- Prepare lunch table, set up resting bags and wash hands
- Lunchtime (seasonal menu including pasta, salad rolls and pumpkin soup)
- Clear meals table, sweep and prepare for rest
- Quiet rest time
- Outdoor play
- Outdoor pack-up
- Wash hands and afternoon tea (usually homemade Anzac biscuits or apple cakes)
- Chapter book story time
- Outdoor play and home time
Enrolments
Enrolments in our four-year-old kindergarten program are administered by Banyule City Council.

Registration forms for 2020 will be accepted from 1 March 2019. Forms should be returned to Council as soon as possible as places are allocated in date of registration order.
